My name is Heidi Winston, and I am Co-Secretary of the IDNA.
I am a Dermatology Clinical Nurse Specialist at Tallaght University Hospital. I joined the Dermatology Department in 2020 after several years working in theatre nursing. This transition has allowed me to develop and enhance my dermatology skills.
My surgical background has inspired a particular interest in dermoscopy and skin lesion management. In 2025, I completed an MSc in Skin Lesion Management at the University of Hertfordshire, which has enabled me to further expand my scope of practice to include surgical skills.
