Learning Outcomes

  • Demonstrate understanding of skin health and symptom management of common inflammatory skin diseases such as psoriasis, eczema, acne.
  • Demonstrate improved knowledge of different types of skin cancer, clinical management, referral pathways and the importance of UV Sun protection.
  • Demonstrate improved knowledge of wound care, specifically the nursing management of Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), a rare genetic skin condition and TENS/SJS.
  • To recognise the importance and relevance of psycho-dermatology in the holistic management of skin disease.
